About Green Europe Environmental Protection Club
Our group is established based on the idea of waste management. Our legal representative's Jan NEMEC and other members came together to help young people realize the waste they produce and their harm to our environment. Our members transferred this consciousness to their environment and tried to raise people’s awareness by forming this informal group. Our members who are aware of the difference in the amount of daily waste generated by even one person who is living in our world of 8.000.000.000 people, can reduce the amount of daily waste generated by gaining the consciousness of recycling, they have deemed it necessary to bring the awareness of recycling and less waste production to a wider audience and established the Green Europe Environment Protection Club in 2020 with 4 founding members who are dedicated volunteers.
The members of the Green Europe Environment Protection Club have been committed to work for the protection of our planet since the day it was established, in line with the awareness that resources in the world are not endless, to prevent global climate change; it has been deemed necessary to raise the awareness of the people in all areas of consumption in our community. For the protection of the world, there is a need for people to gain awareness of recycling as well as to raise awareness on the production of less waste because, even if reuse and reproduction in recycling reduces usage of the resources in the world, during the recycling process, lots of resources are also used and toxic gases that increase global warming are produced. For this reason, it has been deemed necessary to work in our community to increase both recycling and to reduce waste production.
The objectives of our community are;
Promoting recycling, placing a culture of recycling on people, and working to ensure that this consciousness is lifelong sustainable.
Increasing the preferences of recyclable materials instead of non-recyclable ones.
Drawing attention to the reproduction and reusing phenomenon.
Reducing the use of natural resources.
Reducing the usage of plastics and solving the rapidly growing plastic crisis in the world.
Encouraging consumers to purchase products with a recycle sign.
Preparing informative training programs on wastes for consumers and implementing practices that improve consumer behavior towards recyclable products.
-Drawing attention to the importance of the choice of recycled products and packages in terms of sustainable consumption and environmental protection when consumers buy products.
Organizing activities in all areas where consumption is made, such as schools and universities, in order to draw attention to the recycling of wastes, which is one of the main reasons for the global climate.
Contributing to the efforts to reduce damage to the environment, health and economy, and to work to reduce the waste production,
Taking an active role in ensuring the communication between the municipalities and the competent public institutions and organizations that undertake the process of collecting, transporting and destroying wastes.
